How to create your own jekyll blog

Hey guys, today I will tell you how you could make your own jekyll blog, just like the one you’re reading right now!

And, by the way it’s not as hard as it looks.

What you’re going to need

Getting started

  1. Create a username.github.io in your github account (change username with your github username)

  2. Secondly, download the zip version of this template

  3. Thirdly, modify the template _config.yml & about.md file

Writing your first post

The template give you 4 post so you can modify/rename one of the post from 2004-03-09-example-post.md to 2017-04-16-hello-world.md. For the content:

Eos eu docendi tractatos sapientem, brute option menandri in vix, quando vivendo accommodare te ius. Nec melius fastidii constituam id, viderer theophrastus ad sit, hinc semper periculis cum id. Noluisse postulant assentior est in, no choro sadipscing repudiandae vix. Vis in euismod delenit dignissim. Ex quod nostrum sit, suas decore animal id ius, nobis solet detracto quo te.

No laudem altera adolescens has, volumus lucilius eum no. Eam ei nulla audiam efficiantur. Suas affert per no, ei tale nibh sea. Sea ne magna harum, in denique scriptorem sea, cetero alienum tibique ei eos. Labores persequeris referrentur eos ei.

Hi there, I'm <your name>. Welcome to this pretty ordinary blog.
In this blog I will write about:
- Your interest 1
- Your interest 2
- Your interest 3
- Your interest 4

That's probably it for the first post, see you in the next post!

After your blog is ready, push it to your github repository (the one with your username in it). Then push it to your github repository.

Like I said, it’s not that hard.
